Brian Gilliland
Brian has been a professional fundraiser for over 15 years. He started at The Ulster Cancer Foundation introducing a successful direct marketing programme, moved to Age Concern, where he ran donor recruitment and development programmes and then The Natural History Museum, London, where he launched their membership scheme. Twelve years ago he founded Gilliland Direct Marketing who work with small to medium sized charities and big universities.  His longest standing client has been with him for eleven years.

Peter Larsen 
Peter has worked with a wide range of the largest not-for-profits since going into the sector in 1993 as database marketing manager at Greenpeace, where he re-designed the supporter database. Taking up a consultancy role, he implemented the first dynamic donor scoring system used by a UK charity. He went on to design the sector's first fully web enabled donor database and on-line donation solution for CommittedGiving. He leads integrated programs for a range of Not-for-Profit organisations as well as working with some of the UK’s biggest commercial names.

Our Team

Our Senior Data Analyst has created hundreds of models and segmentation systems for clients and commercial data providers. Involved in developing the first generation of geodemographic systems in the UK with CACI and Experian they've delivered hundreds of models, recently developing a Score & Selection system for one of the UK’s biggest Lifestyle data providers.

Our On-Line Experts, Workwithus.org are a DTI award wining not-for-profit company owned by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and fourteen other charities. They provide an invaluable range of specialist online fundraising and marketing services.

Our Senior Designer  has been in the business since 1982.  Formerly a senior designer with a Chicago-based agency, she has a wealth of experience in the charity and educational markets.  A Fine Art and Art History graduate specialising in design, life drawing and illustration.

Our Media Buyers previously worked at large agencies, holding senior positions at Wunderman, JWT, BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi amongst others.  Now independent, they buy for fundraising causes and a range of sectors, including financial, leisure and mail order clients.
